Guess which beautiful beach town made the Tripadvisor 2022 Travelers' Choice Awards? That's right- Key West is one of this year's most popular travel destinations in the United States!
Earlier this month, Tripadvisor announced their list of the most popular travel destinations in the United States. Key West clocked in at #4 on the list!
To create these rankings, Tripadvisor analyzes reviews and ratings specific to each award category from Nov. 1, 2020, to Oct. 31, 2021. The result is a thorough list that represents travelers' current interests!
Trip Advisor speaks eloquently about Key West. The blurb about it reads: "Does time ever pass in the Florida Keys? Everyone and everything in Key West seems to go at its own pace, right down to the ice melting slooooowly in your margarita glass. Of course, it’s not all limes and leisure – Key West is known as the 'Winter White House' because of its appeal to visiting U.S. presidents, and the island has been home to literary greats like Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams. The diving here is phenomenal, as is the kid-friendly Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center." It is easy to see how Key West made the list!
