[Fantasy Fest](https://www.floridakeys.me/fantasy-fest-2022) is Key West's biggest Halloween party, but it is not exactly kid-friendly. Don't worry though- there are plenty of fun Halloween events happening around town that are designed with kids in mind! If you're visiting Key West with your family this October, then you need to check out these fantastic family-friendly Halloween activities!

*October 27, 2022*  |  [WEBSITE LINK](https://www.facebook.com/events/521355346343793/)

Come to the regularly scheduled Thursday Truman Waterfront Farmers Market on October 27 for a huge Halloween celebration! Many vendors will decorate their booths and will offer treats to shoppers. Attendees are encouraged to wear a costume! The kids can trick-or-treat while grown ups sip adult beverages. You can also enjoy great food and ample space. To top it all off, you'll have an amazing view of the sunset over the ocean!

#### Spooky Storytime at Key West Library

Dress up your little ones and bring them to Key West's public library for a spooky storytime! Enjoy spooky (but completely family-friendly) stories from a guest reader, arts and crafts, and a costume party. It will be fun for everyone!

#### A Screaming Green Halloween

*October 29, 2022*  |  [WEBSITE LINK](https://www.keywest.garden/events/screaming-green-halloween/)

Bring the kids to the beautiful Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden for their 14th annual Screaming Green SAFE Halloween! There will candy, games, and crafts for all to enjoy. Make sure that the kids wear their costumes so that they can participate in the costume contest. Hunt for treats in the gardens or play in the bounce house. This afternoon is sure to be a blast!

Have a happy Halloween in Key West!
