South Florida Symphony's 25th Anniversary Rum-Paired Dinner

Key West is known for many things. Three of those things are the creative arts, rum, and Ernest Hemingway. At the South Florida Symphony's 25th Anniversary Rum-Paired Dinner, you can experience a little bit of all three at the same time!

The South Florida Symphony Orchestra (SFSO) was established in 1997. Since then, it has become a superlative cultural institution that is beloved throughout all of South Florida. They are "guided by the belief that music is pivotal to community engagement" and aim to strengthen arts in the community.

This year, SFSO is celebrating their 25th anniversary. As a part of the celebration, they're hosting a 25th anniversary dinner and private concert on Sunday, March 26 at Hemingway’s Library at Hemingway Rum Company/Papa’s Pilar Distillery. During this, they will also debut an exciting new arts recognition program.

The rum-paired dinner will celebrate eight arts and culture advocates in the Keys who champion musical creativity and innovation. It will benefit the Symphony in the Schools children’s music education program in the Florida Keys.

The celebration will start with a cocktail reception, followed by an exquisite four-course, rum-paired dinner prepared by Chef Martin Liz, and an intimate concert by GRAMMY award-winning cellist Zuill Bailey.
